DESCRIPTION
Crystal Crete is a high gloss, non yellowing acrylic floor polish for use on all types of sealed floors. It not only dries to a high gloss finish, it can be maintained by spray buffing. Crystal Crete contains no toxic or heavy metals or butyl solvents and has very low voc's. Crystal Crete is used to maintain floors in a brilliant polished condition with minimum of labor. All types of sealed concrete floors as well as sealed wood and composition floors will improve their appearance and decrease maintenance costs with the use of Crystal Crete.
BENEFITS
Crystal Crete produces a beautiful high gloss, wet look shine on drying, without buffing. It buffs up to a super shine using simple spray buffing techniques with a mixture of one part of Crystal Crete and 2 parts of water. No Special equipment is required an re-coating is reduced to a minimum. Crystal Crete is highly detergent resistant. It is not harmed by repeated scrubbing with a neutral detergent or a damp mopping between buffings. Restore worn areas by re-coating with Crystal Crete. Just damp mop, apply and let dry. Spray buffing will blend in the re-coated area. Crystal Crete is highly slip resistant and meets the ASTM D-2407 requirement for slip resistance. Crystal Crete is economical. One gallon covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. per coat, and last for many months without re-coating. Simple re-application with a microfiber mop or spray buffing maintenance keeps the clean, bright polished look for months, an the acrylic polymers do not ever yellow. Can be burnished.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATION: Be sure the area of the sealed concrete to be waxed is free of trash and debris. Protect all other areas. Mask off all adjacent surfaces with painter's tape or plastic duct tape. If spray buffing, use a plastic or coated cardboard as a spray shield.
APPLICATION: The recommended application tool is a micro fiber style mop. Application by synthetic fiber wax applicator, lambs wool applicator, or clean sponge mop is ok as well. Pour small amount of Crystal Crete directly to the floor and lightly saturate the application tool. Apply at a rate of 1,000 - 1,500 square feet per gallon in very thin coats only. Apply in one direction to a consistent, even, and uniform finish. If puddling or pinholes appear, work them out into a thin coat.
Allow to dry 1-2 hours. Repeat process as many times as necessary to achieve required gloss build.
If spray buffing over an already waxed surface, dilute wax 1:2 with water. Apply using a trig mist sprayer over a small area at a time. Buff that area until the liquid has disappeared and a superior shine is left. Continue this same process throughout the whole floor for high shine waxed floor.
Maintenance coats may be necessary every once in a while as traffic will eventually dull the surface. Simply mop the area clean using a light detergent solution. Allow to dry and then apply a coat of Crystal Crete to rejuvenate the smooth glossy finish.
